Our good friends, the Martini family, came by for a visit last weekend to meet Baby Tate.
Here is when they met Reid 22 months ago. Time flies!

I dare you – no! I DOUBLE DOG DARE you to look at this photo and resist smiling.
Can you do it?!? Me neither.
We are lucky. Baby Tate seems to be a happy little dude.
At four weeks, Tate is already smiling a ton! We had his four-week well check today. He’s big, like his brother was! The current stats are:
Weight: 10lbs 12.5 oz (83 percentile)
Height: 23 in (94 percentile) grown a full two inches from birth!!
We are really enjoying our laid-back little dude.
We have had a great first few weeks with our little Tate. Surprise, surprise that there hasn’t been much time to update our blog! Here are some photos to catch you up on our first few weeks with our new little man.
First Hours
You know we can't resist a "soapy butt cheeks" photo...(and here’s big brother! They are going to kill us some day! )
Observant little Tate at seven hours old…
Meeting big brother...(who was slightly more interested in his doctor kit that the new baby...)
First Week
Meeting (some of) the extended family….
Second Week
Reid at 22 months and Tate at 10 days...
We went to the pediatrician for the big weigh in…
Our first family outing was to Zilker Park. We tried out the double stroller… ….the big boy took a ride on the train…...and enjoyed the playground, while the little guy snoozed in the fresh air.
And today, on Tate’s three-week birthday, the brothers had some playtime with Papa……and cuddle time with Ammy.
Little Tater Tot did a lot of growing in his first two weeks! Here are his stats from his two week doctor appointment. (which was last week...I'm catching up... :-) )
Weight: 9lbs 5 oz (92 percentile) up a full pound from birth!!
Height: 22 in (99 percentile)
Our pediatrician took one look at his feet and hands and said, “Oh my. He’s gonna be big!” He’s a healthy, big and sweet boy!
Here’s a link if you want to see how Big Brother compared at his two-week mark.
